Default 2004 accord sirs codes

I have airbag light on and went to orielly and came up with codes 6-1 and 9-2 . Something about system failed or low voltage. Don't have a clue, newer battery . Someone else told me its belt buckle or a weight! And help would be appreciated

It would be nice to have the "subcode" but these get us close.

A 61-"X" ("x" being the subcode) points to something in the driver seat buckle. A short or open depending on the subcode.

Some have been able to "clean" the latch/buckle....some have had luck with the dealer replacing it under warranty...

A 92-"X" points to something in the pass airbag cutoff indicator.....again a short or open in the system dpending on the subcode.

If you are going to do this yourself, I suggest you get a good service manual - not a haynes/chilton thing but a service manual......and a volt meter will be needed as well.
