I need to trouble shoot an A/C problem,

What refrigerant does it take and how much? (or presssure)

2004 Honda accord sedan

i believe a certified tech has to work on it due to some law or something.

134a freon, and you'll need a set of gauges.

That’s what I needed Honda dude, thanks man,

Status, I do have a certified tech, with an evacuator but alas he is an A/P mechanic and no matter how many C-90 manuals we went through, there was nothing on the accord in them

There is a label under the hood that identifies type and capacity of the AC system. And (in the US) federal law under the control of the epa for mobile AC systems to be serviced by licensed personal. Big fines can be had for venting an ac system.
