2005 Accord driver's side door lock issue
I have a 2005 Accord EX-L V6 driver's side door lock issue. Here are the symptoms:
1. Remote will not unlock driver's door with one press, but can hear mechanism inside door clicking.
2. Remote will not unlock the other doors on 2nd press, but can hear mechanism inside doors clicking.
3. Driver's door must be manually unlocked with key.
4. Once driver's door is unlocked, remote WILL unlock other three doors.
5. Remote will not lock driver's door.
6. Remote will not lock the other three doors unless the driver's door has been locked manually by pressing the lock button down.
7. Lock/unlock switch on driver's door, interior, will not lock or unlock driver's side door.
8. Lock/unlock switch on driver's door, interior, will lock the other three doors IF the driver's door has been manually locked.
9. Lock/unlock switch on driver's door, interior, will unlock the other three doors IF the driver's door has been manually unlocked.
10. When unlocking the car with the key, if I don't first press the unlock button on the remote at least once before inserting the key, the alarm goes off (I believe this is normal)
So, the problem appears to be solely with the driver's side door.
Any ideas, anyone???
Thanks!

It may all stem from a faulty driver's side door lock actuator. If you're willing to take off the door panel, you can test the actuator motor directly with 12 volt power (+) and ground (-).
The power door locks, keyless entry, and the security alarm system are part of the multiplex integrated control system. It may be that since the driver's door lock remains locked or unlocked, the multiplex integrated control unit doesn't operate the power and grounding signals to the other door lock motors, until the driver door lock is respectively unlocked or locked.
