..., seems to be a common problem. 150.000 miles on it. Fix-junk, or...? Belongs to daughter and SIL and they want to spend $500.00 plus to repair the one. I say pull heads and heli-coil ALL of them. Any thoughts here? Thanks, any and all advice appreciated.

 

This happened to a neighbor of mine; I did a Timesert insert for the cylinder and he drove the car another 100,000 miles. The Timesert job if I recall was less than $100 (including the rental of the specialized tool) and is a fairly easy DIY job.

FYI, many folks in the know suggest you retorque your spark plugs at least every other oil change.
