I was just given a 2005 hybrid with 48,000 miles. My uncle is the man! The car is nearly mint, both inside and out. With more power than I expected I'm pretty happy. One problem: navigation unit screen says please check disc. When I try to eject dvd nothing happens. Guy at dealership said disk was missing. Today I ordered a new disk upgrade from the Honda navi site for $100. Does anyone have experience with this problem? Also, having navi would be nice but I just realized the screen does more than just the navi. Does anyone know what else can only be controlled from the touch screen? Only I found so far was fan speed which is really nice to have....another question: is there a way to access these other features of the touch screen without the DVD? I have more ?s but that's enough for now. I found a few threads but this sort of info is tough to find. I hope I'm on the right path to fixing this.

Vehicle should have a navigation manual which explains all features.

You may be able to register your vehicle and download manual from Honda website.
