So I haven't found this on the site yet. I have a 2005 Element that makes a single click/ knock sound on take off in 1st gear or reverse. It only does it under load. All axles were changed recently. Also did ball joints recently. Any thoughts?

 

Have your engine mounts checked? You could grab the valve cover & give it a good shake to see if you can duplicate the sound that way...
