2005 honda accord 6 cylinder, 3,0 ex manual hard shift and grind

Default 2005 honda accord 6 cylinder, 3,0 ex manual hard shift and grind

I just bought the car at auction drove it home and transmission real hard to get 1st grinds into 3rd. Can't get reverse. Changed transmission fluid with honda fluid didn't change a hole lot. No visible leaks in Master or slave. I need help fixing the problem

Scan for codes to see if the PCM detected something. When you changed the transmission fluid, did the old fluid have a bunch of metal shavings in it? How much fluid did you drain/add to the transmission?

Oil was dark no shavings in it. Drained out 2.25 quarts put 2.25 back in. Haven't scanned cods yet

put in reverse withengine off it starts with clutch in. No jerking. Clutch pushed in running grinds trying third and 4th little grind in 5th goes into 6th can't get reversereal hard force to get 1st

I just realized that you have a manual transmission on this. Codes won't apply to internal transmission issues.

I guess try bleeding the clutch hydraulics and make sure the slave cylinder is extending the piston when you push in the clutch pedal. If that doesn't help, then you probably have to tear apart the transmission to fix.
