2005 honda accord 3.0 when in D drive only go up to 2000rpm when in Neutral or Parking revs up normally please help Thanks

 

1. Is the Check Engine Light (aka Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL)) on?

2. You may want to retrieve any stored trouble code(s) even if the MIL is not on. In most states (except California), places like Autozone will read the codes for free. Get the actual trouble code number and post it.

 

Hi thanks for your respond there is no lights on or any codes am thinking transmission sensor solenoid for the transmissionon top under the air filter box

 

Sunday just update it was the solenoid for the transmission just a little cleaning and she shift like new so before you go to buy the part try cleaning it first i hope this helps someone
