Default 2005 locked in!

My sister has an 05 Accord that locked her in. She was getting off the highway and saw a panhandler at the end of the exit ramp. She hit the power lock button on the door panel to lock the doors. When she got to her destination , about 5-6 minutes later, she couldn't get the doors to unlock. The button would only allow the locks to go partially up. She ended up going out the passenger side as it was the only door she could get to unlock. Anybody have this happen or have any ideas why and how to avoid?????

yea those panhandlers are known for car jacking.
You sister should have called 911
She barely escaped with her life

As far as the door lock problem - on one of my doors the lock wont go up all the way either. I am not sure of the cause. I just don't use that door much.

I figured the problem was she's blond!
But she still contends that the locks would only come part of the way up then go right back down. This wasn't just the drivers door but all 4 . She said it would do the same even using the key fob.

Dang, your own sis....come on man.

Anyway, is it still acting up? Not sure if she has the owners manual or not. This could be some sort of security issue?

Would the door unlock if she moved the lock by hand? Not the power-lock button, but lifting the actual lock pin.

No the lock wouldn't go up. This has now happened a second time. The drivers side will not go up more than half way. She has been able to crawl over to the passenger side and get out by pushing up the lock button and holding it up then pulling on the door handle. She is also having problems getting in now as well. she got in by using the key fob. She hit the button twice to unlock all doors and pulled on the handle at the same time. She said that she heard a loud clink while driving this after she had locked the doors with the inside button.
