Default wheel problems

a friend gave me theyre 2006 accord to replace the timing belt and water pump, but I cant get the pass side wheel off. The lugs fit a 17mm socket but the sides of the lugs are kinda rounded so when I go to loosen, the socket just skips to the next groove. need help I tried 6&12 point sockets and std sockets

Well, if you don't have or can get the "key", there are sockets made that will remove locking lugs...kind of a tapered socket the will get them off....I said glove box but check the trunk where the spare and that are as well.
