Found following link w/ different decode scheme:

http://codes.rennacs.com/plugins/HondaSRS/HONDA-SRS-04-Ballade.php"

Scheme is similar to OBD1 scheme; long flash for main code, short pause, and short flashes for subcode.

This works for your codes yielding 6-2 and 10-2.

Unfortunately, when I look in 2003-2007 shop manual for SRS codes, I don't find these codes. Closest is 61-2x. The x denotes a character that will be displayed by Honda HDS scanner. Not sure what that means for manual decode, but possible that you have only one code.

More thinking req'd. I think we can solve this.

good luck

All right. I have some suggestions.

Code may be 62-2x. "x" is a character 0-9 or A-F (hexadecimal code) for SRS manufacturer.

Your flashes are suggested as Main Code 62 and Subcode 2. The 10 long flashes (x?) may be related to the SRS manufacturer (hex A). This is strictly a guess, since the order is reversed.

Code 62-2x is a short in front passenger sea belt buckle switch. Check the switch connector for a shorted condition w/ belt unbuckled. Switch replacement may be necessary.

If you intend to pursue this I would suggest purchasing an 03-07 Accord emanual from ebay seller automanualsource. This will have the info I've been using.

good luck

TH, I was thinking along the same lines for the guess at a passenger seat buckle problem. Not sure what resistance test can be done to verify.

If the seat belt switch shows a short at released connector w/ belt unbuckled, problem is confirmed as shorted switch. The connector is a 3-wire connector w/ only two wires on 1 & 3 terminals. Check resistance across these terminals. W/ seat belt buckled, it should show < 1 ohm resistance. W/ seat belt unbuckled, it should show open.

Hopefully, the switch connector is reachable w/o removing the seat. It's under the middle of the seat. Replacing the switch requires replacing the seat belt buckle assy. A used part may be an option.

I've had good luck w/ balky switches by spraying a liberal dose of WD40 and working the switch (connecting/releasing belt).

We could be all wet on the decode scheme, but no harm in checking.

good luck

Curious to know if this was resolved and what fault was found.

good luck

OBD2 code scanner will not read SRS codes. That's why the decode was important. Only other way is w/ a Honda Diagnostic System.

good luck

It only happens sometimes, particularly when headlights and A/C is on, open door and put in park, exit and when enter and move again. I have been told that low voltage power source may cause such issues, even thou the car runs on alternator power but still if battery is not too good it sucks more charge. However checking voltage it shows 12.5V so I believe even if it is not new buttery, the voltage is not bad and certainly may not be the primary cause. Only way is to check in Honda service but they say they will not guaranty as an error code may not stay long due to too many turning on and off after fault. I will have to wait until fault comes on constantly, meanwhile I will need to stop and restart the car when this happen, on some occasions few times in one week.

Honda Accord 2005 intermittent SRS light on problem solved. It cost me nothing, just little bit of WD40 spray and 15mins of my time. Tested this way (with ignition key on): Buckle up seat belt, seat belt warning light goes off , unbuckle it then light comes on and so number of times until I notice the seat belt warning light does not go on after seat belt is unbuckled and soon after that the SRS light comes on. Sticky switch was causing an open circuit that tells to computer there is something wrong with connection to seat belt (as there are 3 wires on switch it should properly connect in either position) I opened the driver seat buckle by removing plastic cover with torque 10 screwdriver and loaded switch with WD40 spray several times and eventually it stopped doing it. Tested hundreds time now and every time is fine, if this problem should come back I will replace the buckle, which cost $180 from Honda dealership, unfortunately they don’t sell switches separately. If you know anywhere online that you can by such switch please let me know. All the best to everyone and thanks for your replies on this issue.
