Default 2006 Accord Battery going dead

It seems like one thing after another. I just replaced the starter and the driver door handle cable. When I replaced the cable I noticed that the previous owner spliced 2 wires together on the window controls. I removed the splice and the controls no longer operated the rest of the windows except the drivers. When I bought the car the other windows didn't work and the car place sent it to get fixed and said they replaced a relay, I guess not. The battery was replaced about 1 year ago. Any advice on how to troubleshoot this is appreciated.

maybe the splice was bypassing the child lock-out button?

best way to find a battery drain is to use a digital multi-meter to measure current through fuses while the car is off. you can just touch the DMM leads on the fuse tabs (with fuse inserted). while the current will be half of the total, it will help you find a draw. anything more than a few milli-amps is worth looking into.

Not sure on the splice, the lockout button still works. It somehow allows the other 3 windows to work.

In regards to the draw, I checked the draw by disconnecting the negative from the battery using a multimeter. The draw was .02 amps, I opened a door and the draw changed to .35. Based on my research this seems normal.

yes, that seems normal. 20mA of draw total is normal. that won't drain the battery over a day or two. seems like you have a battery issue or make sure the alternator is properly charging.

Okay I ended up blowing the fuse in my meter because I forgot to put the leads back when testing for charge. I got a new fuse and tested draw again, this time I disconnected the negative put the leads between them and the reading starts at .3 amps and drops to .08. When the door is open it starts at .5 and drops to .3. Not sure if this is still within tolerances. Checked charging, 14.2 volts. Battery was at 12.4 and after one night at 12.
