Default 2006 Accord Driver Door Doesn't Open

My 2006 Accord just started having an issue where the driver side door never opens from the outside, but sometimes opens from the inside. If I'm inside and the driver's door is locked, I just have to repeatedly unlock and lock the car and the driver's door will eventually open. Anyone have any idea of what's going on? Thanks in advance for the help.

A connection is probably is loose. it will only get worse...
When you have time, you will need to take the door panel off and figure out what is loose/broke.

Are you having a problem with the door handles not working from the inside or outside, or the door lock?

The door handles seem normal from both the inside and the outside. I am able to get out of the car from the inside using the door handle sometimes. The problem could be the door lock. The little cylinder that goes up and down indicating if the door is locked or unlocked is working. Appreciate the help.

Is the issue the door is staying locked, where you have to pull up the door lock post to get the door to work?

The door usually stays locked even if the door lock post is in the "unlocked" position.

If the lock post is unlocking the door latch, then the issue is likely the door latch itself. You may need to replace or search the web to see if there is a DIY on how to fix common issues with it. Spraying the door latch with some WD-40 may free up a stuck mechanism inside and is worth a shot.
