Default 2006 Accord EX air conditioning issues/ abs sensor

So i have a 2006 honda accord ex. its a 2.4L with a 5 speed trans. First issue i have is the A/C stopped working. I checked the relay. i have power to the A/C button on the inside of the car. Im not to sure how to check the A/C compressor to see if thats the issue and i dont know how to replace it. Second issue is the ABS sensors in the front. I replaced the outer tie rod ends and the lower ball joints and the abs sensors are frozen into the hub. i was interested in how i could change them and get the old sensors out without and issues.

LASTLY> does anyone have any recommendations for the AUX adapter?

When you say the a/c stopped working, be more descriptive. Did all air stop blowing inside the car, or is the blower working, but not blowing cold air?

In the common diy thread on top of the gen tech help forum, there is a link on how to check hvac codes for the 03-07 accords. Post any hvac codes you find on here.

For the abs, is your abs or traction control light turning on while driving?

okay, so the blower is working. The A/C light is on when i turn it on from the climate control panel. The A/C compressor has no restrictions or play when i turn it over. There are no noises, there seems to be no visual damage to the A/C compressor... As far as the ABS sensor. I have no idea how to read the codes. I just no that after i worked on the front end, the ABS light came on the gauge cluster. my assumption would be that its one of the two abs sensors connected in the hubs of the front end but i dont know how to remove them since they are seized on.

For the ac, if you can't get your hands on an ac manifold gauge set.....at least test for continuity across the pins of the ac pressure switch....lower right/pass side of the ac cond.

Can you measure the resistance of the wheel sensors? Measure both sides and let us know the readings.....sometimes you can clean the "gap" between the ring and the sensor....you did work there so dirt might be blocking the reading.

You could check the compressor power wire at the compressor connector. When AC is commanded (no need to run engine, keyswitch to On, AC on) check for 12V to the released connector.

If you have 12V, either the compressor coil is open or clutch gap is too large.

If you don't have 12V, either bad AC relay or possibly system leakdown has opened the AC pressure switch to prevent system operation w/ low charge.

ABS requires codes to progress. See PAH's initial guidance.

Replacement of the wheel sensor will require removal of the 10mm socket size (6mm bolt). If it's rounded from rust/over-torquing get a craftsman rounded bolt socket and use a propane torch to head the bolt head. Note, dirt/rust can cause a sensor fault also. Sensor can be removed/cleaned. Tone ring on CV axle can be cleaned w/ rag poked in hole and axle turned to clean tone ring.

good luck

And to add, when you test the resistance.....switch the probes of your tester....meaning probes in...test....switch probes to pins and test again.
