Default 2006 Accord EX- can I have a key made from the valet key?

I have a 2006 Accord EX. Both of the original keys and the clicker deal (FOB?) are also lost. ALL I HAVE is the valet key. My question is can a 'regular' chipped key be made from the valet key? If so, can only the dealership do this? If the answer is no, then can a spare be made from the valet? Again, only the dealership?

Thanks!

For the most part, the dealership would have to do it. Your 2006 Accord has the Type 4 immobilizer system. The Type 4 system is unique. The transponder ID code in the key is a rolling-type code instead of a set code.

A special key cutting machine is needed to cut the key blanks for your model year Accord.
