Hi so I have a 2006 Honda accord and I took off the wheel today and right behind it right above the axle kind of is this weird looking now but I don't know what it is in the dealership couldn't find it either in the diagrams would anyone happen to know?

There's one on each side and I have no idea what they hold up because I couldn't dig in to find out

 

looks like some kind of engine mount. what is the other end attached to?

 

I'm not sure, can't locate it from the top. On either side haha. It's right there but still such a mystery.

 

It's a sub frame mount. Bolted on sub frame and mounted to The body of the vehicle
