2007 Accord with dead (shorted) radio ? about battery
I didn't see post for this specific question. I have a 2007 Accord sedan LX automatic. I have owned since it was new. The radio shorted out and is dead (no function at all) heater and AC controls still function.
Do I need to replace the radio (cause I can't find a replacement locally)?
What happens when the battery has to be disconnected or replaced? I will have a radio to input radio code to override that feature. I have looked online but it seems pretty iffy to buy a replacement that way. Local dealer and Honda have not offered any help.
Thanks in advance!!

You source a replacement radio, but will need to get the code to unlock it.
You may be able to have the radio repaired. I remember alpine had a repair service that may solve the problem where you send the radio in for repairs.
Have you done any troubleshooting on the radio? Did you do any work on the car before the radio failed?
