2007 accord horn issue

Exclamation 2007 accord horn issue

so today my horn decided to not work. worked fine this morning and on my way home decided not to work. strange thing is it beeps when i set the alarm on the car.

is this a bad relay? of so where is it located? i do not have the owners manual as i bought this car used and it did not come with one.

if its not the relay what else could it be?

You posted in the other thread. The easiest thing to test is voltage using a volt meter on the plug for the horn. Then you will know if it is the horn or something electrical is not working.

Here is the link for the online shop manuals. There is one for the 04-07 accords.

i assume the plug for the horn is along the steering column? should i be worried about the air bag?

Default mechanic

alright went to the mechanic today. so apparently honda doesnt have a horn relay cause that would have been easy to fix. instead its a "casset" thats underneath the airbag and that is what the problem is. $360 to fix it. called the dealer and they said $125 for the part didnt give me a quote for the labor. regardless im annoyed that it isn't a cheap fix. thanks for the help!
