2007 Honda Accord VP - Rear Brakelights/Taillights not working with Headlights on
Got a 2007 Honda Accord VP has the rear led taillights and new 7443 Bulbs left and right (single filament)
Issue: With headlights/combination switch on I have no rear brake LED running lights. If I press the brake the LED on left and right maker lights illuminate (work) and along with the center brake light. However, all rear light are off with headlight switch on(no brake pedal pressed).
All fuses are good. I looked at the Circuit diagram for a 2007 Honda Accord (non hybrid) figure 23 and it appears there is a “taillight relay”. I don’t think the brake pedal position switch is bad, as it works when pressing the brake pedal.
I ordered a combination switch/headlight switch to replace but am leaning towards it being a “taillight relay”
I cannot seem to locate the “taillight relay” or where it’s located. According to the lighting circuit diagram figure 12 it indicates (No.4 15amp) “relay control module” on the “control block”
does anyone have pictures , or experience a similar issue, seems to be under the hood, might be an oversight on finding it. All help appreciated
