Default 2008 Honda Accord EX-L

So I was hit by an elderly woman recent.
(she ran a stop sign) and I was looking for a few opinions.

I am waiting on the insurance adjuster to get to my car to check it out, but until then....do you guys think the car is going to be decalred totaled?

I know its extremel difficult to tell just from a picture but what would you guess?
There is about 1300 worth of damage to teh back bumper as well.

Just trying to get an idea if I should begin to look for a new ride.

Thanks for any thoughts!

Is your frame bent? If you don't know...ask your insurance company..if it's bent dump the car if you can if the insurance company will let you and buy one that's not been wrecked...

if the chassis is bent the car is totaled.

Sorry to hear about your car man, it looked pretty clean

I'm a fan of white accords..

but, seconding what they said, if the frame is bent at all they total it..

I'd still start looking.. it never hurts

Good luck! keep me updated on what happens.. oh and Welcome to HAF

Thanks for the response!
Yeah Im not sure on the frame, they towed the car from the accident scene amd I havent seen it since.

I will make sure to ask the insurance adjuster about the frame.
Part of me hopes its totaled so that I dont have to own a "wrecked" car.
oh well.

thanks for the info!
