2008 honda accord starts and stalls right away
hey folks drove my 2008 honda accord today worked great came home car sat for a wile went out to go somewheres and started it and it stalled right away....tried again same thing...checked oil it was low almost 2 Quarts so i toped it off and tried to start again same thing start then stall tryed again a few times same thing....do you think i cooked the motor? i thought it would atleast start up and run like **** if i did...but this just happened outta the blue after it was running fine

If this is a 4 cylinder, my guess is that due to the low oil levels, you have a stretched timing chain. The timing chain auto-tensioner relies on oil pressure to keep proper tension. The Check Engine Light will most likely be lit and a trouble code of P0341 probably stored. One thing leads to another.

I had this happen to a 86 sable it would intermittently stall and then one day it just ran and shut right off after a few monets.
