Honda Accord 2000 doesn't start right away sometimes
I have a 2000 Honda Accord 4 Cylinder. I have had an issue where the vehicle sometimes doesn't start right away and just turns. Sometimes I just keep they key in 1 position wait a little and then turn it and its fine. Usually it starts right away though starting it normally. I took it to mechanic they charged me 26.00 diagnostic fee and said they aren't sure why and let them know when they CEL comes back on. I took it back today and its pulling up the same codes as follows:
P0138 - HO25 High Voltage
P1457 - Evap Control System leak (Evap Canister Area)
I know this is rear 02 sensor which has been replaced about 3-4 years ago.
Evap code has been on most of this year now.
I am just wondering if anyone has an idea what it could be. Thanks advance.

You will want to check the electrical connector for the rear O2 sensor and the wiring. Maybe the wiring insulation got worn out due to poor routing. There are some voltage tests you may want to try.
The P1457 is typically from the vent-shut valve. Do you live in the north where they salt the roads?

Yes they salt the roads here in North NJ. Wiring issue is possible, I had that 02 Sensor replaced about 3-4 years ago. Thanks for the links. Also if you click my name and look at all the threads (only have 4 ) I started you will see I have had start up issues in the past if that helps narrow things down. I had both sensors replaced at one point though.
