2009 Accord Oil Usage
I have a 20009 Accord V6 that seems to be burning oil.
I had the oil changed less than 2000 miles ago and when I checked it this morning, the level was already below the bottom of the dipstick.
Is this normal? The dealer says this model can burn up to one quart per 1000 miles. I think this is BS.

I think it is and it isn't BS.
It's not completely normal for it to lose that much oil.
But the dealer's statement means that it's acceptable from a warranty standpoint & honda won't necessarily do anything about it.
But did you check the oil regularly over that 2000 miles? Was the level good right after the oil change? Did it drop gradually over the whole time? Was there one sudden drop at some point in time?
Do you check oil parked in the same place all the time? I've seen very very few garages or parking spaces that are truly level. There's always some slope for drainage.
