Just bought a 2012 Honda Accord V6 EX-L W/Nav. Love the car but wanted to post on here before I went to the dealership. I can turn the AC fan on high and turn the temp down to LO and It just doesnt seem to cool the car down as well as other vehicles I've had in the past. The air itself is very cold when it comes out of the vent but just doesnt seem to be blowing out fast enough.

I thought it may be a bad fan motor but is this possible on a 2012? I talked to a friend with a brand new civic and he said that his AC is great but if he presses the ECO button, it slows the fan speed down. Mine doesn't have the ECO button but turns itself on ECO automatically while driving.


Has anyone else had problems like this?

 

these cars have cabin air filters, and while they provide clean air, they also restrict air flow...could be your issue, may not be...
