Hi all,

My local dealership has been unable to figure out what's going on with my car for the past several weeks and I am hoping to get any insight before I give up on the car. It has 56k miles on it and it has been in an accident 1.5 yrs ago with the front left of the car damaged.

It died on me at a stoplight and would crank but not catch. After the dealership tried looking at it and replaced the battery, they stated they could not replicate the issue and gave me back the car. Later the issue reappeared, and the engine would catch but would not stay on for more than 2 to 5 seconds or so after having driven it for a few days. If left to cool for a longer period, it would start and would not show any issues for a long time, hence my dealership being unable to trigger the problem to diagnose it since the last time.

I have the videos of my dash uploaded to share if those would help...

Any ideas on what I can do?

 

Problem suggests a fuel delivery issue; weak, failing fuel pump. Measuring fuel pressure is way forward to confirm fuel pump fault.
