Default 2013 Accord EX-L question

I just purchased a 2013 Accord EX-L 4 and noticed it says to use 0W20 oil in it. I also have a 2006 Accord EX that uses 5W20. Wouldn't it be fine to also run the 5W20 in the 2013? The Honda Accord Users website says to run the 0W20 but in my opinion I think the 5W20 would be fine and I wouldn't have to be buying separate weight oil all the time. What do you guys think? Brian

I would run what's supposed to be in the engine...that keeps you out of trouble for sure member..

Your 2013 was designed to use 0W-20.

If you want to buy one viscosity oil for both the 2013 and 2006, 0w-20 is acceptable for the 2006.

Thanks for the info. Any opinion on using either Mobil 1 or Castrol Syntec Titanium? I am struggling to find the Castrol in my area.
