I am repairing a 2014 Honda Accord EX snapped off steering tie rod. due to accident.. I have the new rack to go in I am now looking for some insited on how to install it without dropping the whole engine and subframe..

 

Not sure you can get it out without lowering the subframe.

 

Have you investigated replacing the inner tie rod and ball joint? This was possible in hydraulic rack & pinion. If the rack outer case is damaged this would not be possible.
