Default 2016 Honda Accord EX center console is dead

The console on my accord is dead.
The screen below that which is for radio etc is working fine. It's just the one which shows reverse cam and mileage info that is gone

Nothing was done on the car recently to cause this.. have restarted the car 100 times nothing... It's completely black, no light nothing..
I would not have even bothered with it except that shows the reverse cam which I desperately need.

Any idea any one.. thank you all in advance..

I don't know of common issues with this backup camera screen. One thing you can do is to shine a bright flashlight close to the screen to see if you can see a faint image. If this was the case, then something is up with a backlight.

I suspect that a dealership would want to replace the whole unit (unless they found some other wiring issue), and I'm pretty sure this is expensive.

I did the light test but nothing.. it is dead.. I checked the fuses and they are fine too...

You can try a battery cable reset to see if it resolves it.

See this other thread for some info. https://www.hondaaccordforum.com/for...working-60993/

Some people on another forum for Honda Pilots also used the battery cable reset which resolved their black screen issue.

Sure will try this but first I need to get the anti theft code for radio.. don't wanna have another dead screen... At the moment not even sure how to get that code also

Your 2018 should not need an anti-theft radio code like early model years.

This is the reactivation procedure if it needs it:
