Hehehe...I've had the rush, just not in my accord. Had the M3 up to 156 on a deserted stretch of road (per GPS...speedo was in the mid 160s).

4th gear tops out at 135
I was in 5th when I hit that speed, didnt even touch 6th.

Very, very nice.

Did you get rid of the "limit" in your ECU? Or does BMW disregard that? My friend just did that to his RSX-S....now he can go 160.

I haven't done any software changes. Supposedly the car is limited at 155, and delimited it will make low 180s. I have heard that the limited is only effected in 6th gear. I'm not really sure what the deal is, as I went off what was on my GPS (max speed). I didnt feel it bump off anythign. Either way, it was fast!

i didnt even hit 5th when i was at 120, i was slowly approaching 7k rpm in 4th. if i had a 7th gen, id get the V6, 6-spd for sure.

Sliding off topic here, let's give the guy some good answers to his question. Essentially I said I don't regret the four banger five speed but would rather have had a V-6 six speed sedan had it existed in '04........next:

anything over 100 mph + a blown tire = crazy stuff... i used to drive 120 all the time in my civic hb when i was a kid, until one of my friends flipped over his ride coming home from Vegas when one of his tires blew out... he had an angel in the car bc he survived with a few bruises... and the roll cage helped too... i hope y'all going over 100 mph have roll cages...
