2000 Accord 4cyl. 5speed Manual Trans. Is it ok to use Mobil1 10W-30 in the transmission, or what would you guys recommend?? Does it make a big difference at all? Thanks, Joe.

Ok, good to hear. I've already put it in a few weeks ago. Once in a while, usually when it's cold, shifting from 1st to 2nd I can feel a little vibration on the shifter as it goes into gear, kind of feels the same as if the gear was grinding but no nearly as violent, and no noise, I'm not sure if the sync is gettin warn or wut. I'd notice that way before I changed the trans fluid, and it didn't seem to change at all after I put mobil1 in it so I'm not sure if this is normal or what.

I bet if you filled it with honda mtf that would go away.

 

did all this start after you replaced tranny fluid ? or was it there before ?????????
I would do as CHIO suggested, drain the tranny fluid and put some Honda MTF , see if that helps

 

It did it before, when it had Honda MTF, and it didn't change at all when I put in Mobil1
