Hi. I bought an 86 Accord about 2 years ago. Drove it for a while, then the tranny went out. So I bought another wrecked honda with same tranny and put it in. Now when I put it into drive it makes a strange scraping noise, but only for half a second. I've checked the fluid and it is fine. When backing up I always stop before putting it into drive, so it isn't just "grinding" due to me. What do you guys think? Ideas? Recommendations? (I'd like to avoid the shop. It's a $500 car. They'd probably charge me more than what it is worth)
