87 accord battery light
87 Accord 2.0L..Have installed 2 new alternators (in same day) and still the battery light stays on continous. test showed 12.97 volts and 65 amp output under load.. Poss bad ground? something else on that circuit? connector? Need help fast...

try putting a different battery in there or checking the water level in the battery. I had an 86m prelude that did the same thing, turned out to be low water in the battery.

Agree with different batt suggestion. Occasionally a defective battery will not accept a charge. If one is not available and you have an automatic batt charger; a quick check may be: connectthe charger and set on a medium rate, (6/8/10/12A),and watch the charge meter. If it quickly goes to very low charge rate then, two reasons could be: defective battor batt is at full charge.
Normal fully charged batt voltage - digital meter check - post to post - vehicle not running - 12.66V, (6 cells x 2.11V ea. = 12.66V)
Vehicle running - ALL accessories ON - 13.8V to 14.4V.
