Default 89 lxi body, 88 carbureted block

I've got an 89 lxi with bad block (good head if anyone is interested), an 88 carb. motor with good block. Since the car is already set up for the injection, are there any wiring issues as long as I keep the manifolds and water fittings from the injected motor? I'm also changing the car from auto (said to be in working condition) to 5spd, mechanically, it's easy as pie, but once again the wiring, is there a difference in the engine wiring between the auto and manual?

Just swap the intake and exhaust manifolds over to the new engine. And the distributor. That should leave the old engine pretty well stripped and the new engine ready to run.
