I have a 1990 Accord EX. Went to start it last night, it started up fine then after about 30-60 seconds, RPMs started fluctuating downward. Then it died. Started it again and the same thing only started fluctuating and died no longer than 30 seconds after I started it. I waited and tried starting it a few more times and exactly the same thing. When I press the gas pedal to try to keep it running, it dies immediately.
It had been parked downward on a moderate hill for a couple of days and the gas is low but not to the red line.
Any suggestions?

What you describe does sound like a possible fuel issue.
