Default 90 accord f22a1

hi agian
i notice an oild leak on my transmission and i noticed it came from the distributor. when i removed it( i worked with civics alot its the same thing to me) i noticed the the gasket was missing that goes into the cam. is there anyway i can get the gasket alone i do not feel like buying a whole nother distributor just for a gasket.

If you mean the o-ring, then yes. There should be a groove in it for the o-ring to seat. Parts stores may have them. If not, then the dealership be able to get you one.

Someone recently posted about the same thing and thought that the o-ring was missing. It was so hardened and brittle, that the person did not think it was the original o-ring. I think that they needed to cut it out with an exacto knife.

If you have to cut it, be careful not to scratch the groove. That'll make it leak wherever it's scratched.
