How many pulses per mile does the VSS put out, in a '90 Accord 5sp?

A couple years ago I parted out a '90 accord and kept the cruise control system and now I would like to install it in another car of mine. My car puts out 1025ppm. My only concern is that what my car puts out will be outside the 'window' that the accord CC system works in (i.e. above a certain speed, and below another).

A number of older CC systems didn't care what speed the car was going so that may not be an issue. I don't have a clue what the accord VSS puts out but I would probably just try it. Do a quick rough install so you can test it and if it works then great, if not then it won't. What are you installing it in?

 

That would be nice if it did work straight up. As long as the my car's VSS frequency is the same or HIGHER, I can deal with it fairly easily. But if the accord wants to see a higher frequency signal then it gets tricky.

My car is a '92 Geo Storm.
