Default '90 Accord trans Prob

Ok here we go. I have a 90 accord that started actiing up it wont go into gear. I had an error code on the tcu 15. I went to scrap yard pulled a new sensor. Error code gone but problem still there. When i start my car and put in gear it works but i only can drive for a block before it messes up. But when i shut my car off and wait a min and turn it back on i can go for another block. Any takers?...... its an auto pushin 300,000

try replacing the entire TCU. also check your shift solenids, and change out your tranny fluid for good measure

How does the tranny mess up now?

I can only think of the shift and lockup solenoids on the outside of the tranny. Are there any new codes stored on the TCU?

You can also download a shop manual for a 91 accord using the links in the DIY thread on Online Manuals.
