Okay I went ahead and plugged both the ecu and the tcu back in and there were no more codes. I started it right up and let it run. I did not get any codes and the green "S" light was not on. It did go on when I hit the S button but it turned off when I pushed it again. How long do I need to run it to make sure everything is good? I am now trying to figure out why the rain is getting in the car. When I talked to the previous owner he said that it was missing something underneath the the windsheild wipers that takes the rain out of the car. Some kind of ramp. Does anyone know what this might be?

I would guess that it should continue to run fine, unless the computers got wet again.

There is a black plastic cowl cover that may be missing. That should be pretty obvious. There are some seals as well. You might want to find a U-Pull-It junkyard nearby. Drive your car there, and see if you can find some of the missing parts?

Maybe posting a picture of the area around the windshield wipers would help too. To prevent water from getting on the computers, remove them incase it rains.

Could always get some gallon ziplock bags, and bag the computers n ziptie.. As an extreme last simple resort...

I think I figured out where it was leaking. I had my son go into the passenger side of the car and let me know when he saw water coming in the car. When I poured water on the windshield and the water got to the bottom of the winshield it started to leak. So then I took the wipers and the cowel off and poured water along the bottom of the windsheild until I got to the middle of it. Sure enough it started to leak inside again(of course I did all of this without the computers in there)right where the computers would sit. So I went and bought some silicone sealant and sealed it up some more. I have to see if it worked yet but I think it will.
If this works than I can tackle the valve cover/sparkplug seals!

Hey,no problem! Thanks for everyones help and advise! Without you guys I wouldn't of been able to do this! Does anyone have any advise for changing the sparkplug seals? I watched the video on you-tube but I'm kind of leary about taking apart the top of the engine to get to the lower seals.

There is a video from Ericthecarguy, but I see you watched that or one close to it.....some, including myself will try just the uppers first. If the oil comes back then go for the lowers. On the 5th gen EX only has one set of seals, what trim level is yours

I have the lx. I went ahead and tried it and I'm glad I did because the ones underneath were like hard plastic and they just broke apart when I took them out. I didn't adjust the valves because that is just something I don't want to screw up. But it was pretty easy to do. Also I don't have a leak anymore because that sealant worked. Now I can but the computers back in there with no worries.
I'm going to do a search but does anyone have any idea what the torque specs are for the valve cover nuts?

that oil is coming from one of two places. the rubber seals that sit on top of the spark plug tube , in the valve cover. or the o rings under the tubes. I've seen an inch of oil on the wires and it ran perfect. too much oil will short the plugs out .( remove the oil.) this does not mean the engine is junk. If you have compression on all four cyl. and you have time to diagnose the problem I don't think this will cost a lot of money, if the tranny is o.k.
down here in florida the junk yards will give you a couple of hundred bucks for a junk car. I figure you have nothing to lose but the tow charge to get it to your house
