Hello all, I have a 1991 Accord with 140K miles. I shifts hard mostly from 1st to 2nd and a little smoother (although pretty harsh) so on...
I have a very important question... It was suggested to me that i run the transmission HOT, flush out the tranny oil and attempt to fill it up with a thinner tranny oil WITH an additive. Now, according to many this is very BAD, they claim i should just fill it up and drive till it dies out. Should I go about it with the additive or should i just fill up and keep rolling.

Don't follow that advice. A drain/replace w/ Honda ATF is a good idea.

Suggest adjusting throttle cable linkage to trans to specfication. See diy forum for download manual (Online Manuals post) for link to download shop manual.
