The a/c on my 91 accord just stopped working all of a sudden. The compresor is not comming on I have checked the fuse in the fuse box in the car it is ok. I think I had a slow leak. Is it possible the freon gotto low so the compressor will not kick in?

 

if u are very low or no freon at all a/c compressor will not engage.......jump the high pressure switch at the rec drier ..if compr comes on most likely u are low on freon,,,,,,, another test ,, remove the recharge cap from the high pressure ( discharge hose ) hose, stick a small screrwdriver on the valve to depress it and see if freon comes out with a lot of pressure ,if hardly anything coming out recharge a/c , put a/c dye and chk for leaks..
