Question 91 Accord Low Idle Issue

Hey all! I've been having a issue with my idle being really low, it stays around 550-600rpm usually with or without the ac cranking, I can't even stop at a redlight/stop sign without having one foot on the gas and one on the brake, acts likes it's gonna stall..but doesn't. It vibrates like crazy..so much I really dislike driving her now (I think I need a motor mount too, not sure though). From what my friend told me it should be 700-800rpm, I was wondering what could be causing it, and what should I do to troubleshoot it first? Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

theres a few reasons that may be causing your issue, but the first thing I usually do is adjust the screw on the left of the TB(just above the intake tube)
note: you may want to be careful when dealing with the rubber gasket/seal covering the screw (my screw became loose so I had to squirt a little high temp silicone in there so it would stop trying to adjust itself from vibrations...lol)Name: HondaAccordIdleScrew.jpg

I would not adjust the idle screw as the first fix.

I would clean the inside of the throttle body and both sides of the throttle plate with some throttle body cleaner.

Then I would remove the IACV and clean the screen on that valve.

Agree. Adjusting that would be the last thing I would do.
