91 Honda accord lx. Oil change now won't start
I don't exactly know what is wrong with the distributor cap. They all just said it was bad. I don't ask, I just tell them to fix it. haha
My dad asked me what type of oil they used in my car and the receipt says 5W-30. He got pissed and said that 5w-30 is NOT for my car. 10w-30 is better and I should even be thinking about 20w-50. But isn't 20w-50 for racing cars? Plus, according to him, places like that use recycled oil. So, before we get it towed, he's going to drain the oil and check the filters and put in some 10w-30.

You really should get into the habit of asking a few extra questions just so it appears that you aren't interested in being taken advantage of. While I think most mechanics are honest, there are some that are not. I would make a negative review with any of your local websites that allow people to make reviews. Atleast if there's enough of these perhaps it'll help the next guy not to go to that particular company or location. Yelp is pretty popular.
My mechanics are very honest since they know that my dad knows a bit about cars. Plus one of them is my uncle's girlfriend's brother and the other grew up with my dad.
Now that oil place however, I submitted a review and am just glad my engine still kind of works. I don't know what I will do if this repair costs me more than $200.
