okay had some problems with the charging system. in the course of diagnosis had the instrument cluster out and apart to check the charge light....don't ask.

well got everything fixed so car runs and charges. however the speedometer doesn't work just sits on zero no bounce or anything. cruise works fine.

Did i forget to plug something in? when i put the cluster back together and in??

Could I have dmaged it when i had it out? It seems to be electrical no cable or anything.

 

check all the wriring again I guess. take apart the cluster again and make sure its plugged in. Check the harness plugs under the steering column. Check the ECU plugs. This type of thing can be hard to pinpoint. especially since you can only check to see if its working or not while the cars in motion.
