91 through 2000 Accord Gas mileage
I am new to the forum and looking at purchasing a 91 through 2000 accord. I was wondering if y'all could tell me what kind of gas mileage y'all get withY'alls accords (in stock form) no engine, exhaust or suspension mods. I am looking for a baseline on gas and then would like to know of any mods such as exhaust, intake, tire sizes that can increase mileage. I am currently driving a 96 Audi A4 Quattro which requires me to put in premium gas. It is getting pretty pricey so I am selling the audi and going with an Accord. My brother has a 91 Accord that has not had a single problem with itsince he purchased it. Thanks for the input.

RE: 91 through 2000 Accord Gas mileage
i have a 98 Accord Coupe EX all the options except navigations... it has a h22a4 in it now, but back when i had the F23A1 (2.4L SOHC VTEC, 170hp/173ft/lbs) i used to get about 30mpg all around, no matter how i drove it....
the H22a4 in there now, has a custum home made ram air intake, 2.5" straight through exhaust dumped behind the rear axle... i get 26-28mpg on the highway, getting on it though i get like 20mpg.... it was well worth it though, i can still drive easy and get good gas mileage, but if i wanna wind her out to 7500rpm+ i've got enough power to outrun pre 2k Mustang GT's, LT1's, C4 vettes (well the C4 i ran, we were nose to nose to 140mph and then he slowly walked away, so i cant really say i can kill C4 vettes....from 60-100 maybe, but after 120 or so those cars have crazy topend....and my car has crazy top end...
here's a 4th gear pull through VTEC from ~4500rpm - ~7000rpm

here's my 0-60 vid, crappy quality on both vids but you get the idea, iv'e since got a new camera that takes great video w/sound as well... anways, here's the 0-60, i timed it at 5.5-6 seconds.... i let off at redline ~7100rpm in 2nd right at ~72, 73mph....
