Default 92 accord coupe lx auto a few different questions

Ok so first issue or concern is that when i shift from park to reverse or reverse to drive (not all the time ) i hear a clunking sound liek something is loose or what not its nto the mounts as they were replaced a few months ago and transmission is fine other than that . Also while driving sometimes it doesnt accelerate as it should not a slippage though i can tell if it was slipping and there is no rpm slippage it just doesnt go as fast . i have had a full tune up oil change new valve cover gasket , a new water pump and timing belt done a new fuel pump as well . any ideas help please oh and gas mileage is only around 20mpg not quite what it should be .another issue is i dont believe i have a 17 galloin gas tank as the most i have ever put in is about 12 to 13 gallons .

Is there "slack" in the cv joints?

Any stored codes in the TCU/ECM?

There is a write up in the Common DIY THreads sticky at the top of this section that will tell you how to get the codes and how to read them.
