Default 92 accord cruise control

i have 1992 honda accord ex 2.2 litre. I push cruise control main switch and it lights up. I then push accell and the green dash lights ups also. But cruise doesnt engage. I figured it was servo/regulator. Any help is appreciated.

have same year, model.

You're pushing the top of two control buttons on the steering wheel.
The lower one (maybe the letters are worn off?) is the one to set the speed - "SET."

So to set the speed push the lower "SET" button rather than the top "RESUME/ACCEL" button.

Since you have had the car - has it ever worked?

Auto or manual trans?

Auto trans - you'll want to test the brake light switch.

Manaul trans - test brake light switch and clutch pedal switch. There are two - one is closed when the pedal is not being pushed, this is for the crusie. The other closes when you push the pedal down, this is for the starter.

Also check the vac lines to the can and the servo.

Did the cruise ever work since you had the car?

The switches showed what on the volt meter when tested?

The vac lines are just that, hoses connected to the "can" and to the intake.

Have you checked the fuse?

Is the CEL on or come on recently?

Okay, this is somewhat along the same lines....I cannot get the master cruise control switch to glow green and therefore no cruise control light comes on the dash...all fuses appear to be good and brake lights work fine. On a 5-speed should I be checking the switch behind the clutch pedal?
