Smile 92 Accord EX IP Bulb Help...

Hey everyone! I have a question regarding the illumination bulbs that light up my gauges at night!

The bulbs that illuminate the temp and fuel gauges at night have burnt out as well as one bulb that goes into the top of the cluster that illuminates so I can see the gauge needles. I called the local Honda dealership and they are having a hard time trying to see what bulbs I need in order to replace these with.

My question is what are the bulb numbers I would need in order to replace these bulbs? What about the ones that illuminate the speedometer and tach at night?

How do I get the "blue" coating that goes on these bulbs so I dont have 2 different colors in my cluster at night? Honda bulbs dont come with these??

Any info on this would be great because I never had an IP bulb replacement be so darned complicated before!

For your year, there is two makers for the instrument cluster and they both use different bulb types. One does not show the bulb part numbers at all. What is your VIN? You can post it here or PM if you prefer not to post it, so I can see whether it shows up which one.

On the earlier Hondas, the blue lighting is from a bulb condom (a blue/green rubber cover) that goes over the bulbs. You just remove the bulb condom off the old one and place it on the new one.

I believe my cluster is the nippon seiko one...it says "NS" at the bottom of the speedometer. My VIN is 1HGCB7573NA102529. I tried to remove one of the blue/green rubbers and it was almost molded to the bulb itself. I didnt want to tear it.
