'92 five spd. Accord suddenly dies at low speeds
The wires all seem to lead to a single bolt that is part of the under dash frame work.
and directly to the right of the steering column about where your knee would be
while driving. I can't tell if any of the wires lead anywhere else from that spot.
There's a piece of formed plastic that pops off easily in that area, it allows
a somewhat better view when removed but not much. Anyway my best
guess is that it's an input jack for the diagnostic system as seen on
later Accord models starting around '94. But mine is a '92 so it also
has the blue two pin terminal that you shunt under the glove box to the right,
It might explain why nothing ever happens when I shunt that connector.
It's probably not connected to the diagnostic system anymore.
Thing is, I don't have that type of connector (see image) which is
probably for a stand alone diagnostic computer. Should I try to
locate one of those units, and plug it in? Not sure how easy it will
be to track one down. How should I proceed? Bottom line is, I need
to either get the car working right again, or get rid of it. I'm running
out of time.

Resolved this issue. It was a bad distributor. I had to take it to proper repair shop
and they figured it out in a few hours. I had previously replaced cap, rotor, and coil,
but it was the dist. itself.
