i have a 93 honda accord 2.2 non vtec and i have a couple of problems. first off, the drive light "D" is flashing and now the car is running perfectly at an idle but when accelerating it is sputtering and skipping. i have changed the plugs, wires, and fuel filter and nothing has changed. if anyone can help i would be very appreciative. thanks.

Suggest getting the codes ECU/TCU. See the Common DIY Threads for a write uo on jumoing the service connector amd then counting the flashes.

I see you did the wires and plugs, was the cap and rotor no due? When were they last changed/inspected.

 

yeah i changed them when i put the motor in the car along with the water pump and the timing belt rotoray button and cap.
