93 Accord 2.2L LX/AT shifting prob
First off, thanks for taking the time to look at this post. OK, here's the problem: Just replaced lower, rear heater hose on the car (after it overheated, for less than 2 min-shut it off rite away). Temp and everything is fine now, but upon driving it for the first time today, noticed it was braking VERY sluggishly (from 55-25-0, i even noticed a slite increase in rpms). Had to put it into park and apply the parking brake coming up my driveway (upon which it revved up to about 5500 RPM's. So the shifter got stuck in park, but got it to unlock with the release key. Brake light switch i know is bad (only the driver side brake light comes on, been that while for awhile, just haven't fixed it yet). NEVER have had this prob B4. All the rite lights come on on the dashboard and everything (including fluid levels), seems to look good under the hood (btw, the horn honks). What could be causing the sudden brake failure? Thx for any help!

Is the problem, less braking than expected for the amount of brake pedal pressure? Check your vacuum brake booster line for problems.
Is brake pedal soft and spongy, going further down than before? This might indicate low brake fluid and air entering the brake hydraulics.
good luck

You may have several unrelated problems.
Does the check engine light ever turn on or the D4 light start flashing? See how to check CEL codes in the DIY section. Post any codes you find on here.
When you refilled the coolant, did you open the bleeder valve on the thermostat housing to allow air to escape from the system? How is the idle?
If one brake light is working, then the switch should be working. You should fix the brake lights, because you can get a ticket for that. It may be as simple as replacing the bulbs.
If you have a volt meter, unplug the electrical connector to the bulb that is not working. See if you have 12V across the connector to the bulb when you have an assistant push on the brake pedal. Some of the accord bulbs have two filaments, so check for voltage across both sets of pins when trying this.
